Maruti Suzuki Invicto

Maruti Suzuki has launched its flagship MPV Invicto. Like the Hyrider and Urban Cruiser, it is also a product of Toyota-Maruti collaboration. In actual, it is the Suzuki-badged version of Toyota Innova Hycross.
Invicto
The Invicto is manufactured by the Toyota for Maruti Suzuki along with the Hycross in the same production plant. However, Invicto is going to be sold from Maruti's premium NEXA showroom only. The price of the base Zeta Plus 7 STR variant starts at Rs.24.79 Lakh and goes up to Rs.28.42 Lakh ex-showroom for the top end Alpha Plus 7 STR variant 

From the exterior it is very much similar to the Hycross. At the front you can see a long bonnet and large grille with Suzuki logo on it. LED headlamps and indicators are provided however the fog lamps are missing. It is a very beautyful MPV from the front.

You can see the resemblance with the Hycross from sides.
Tyre of Invicto
17 inch alloy wheels are provided with the Invicto looks very nice. The 4.7 meter length and large windows are ensuring a very spacious airy cabin even from its exterior looks. 
Tail lamp of Invicto
At the rear you will get a powered tail gate, LED tail lamps are provided. Suzuki logo and Hybrid badging are placed well. This Hybrid badging indicates that, unlike the Hycross, the Invicto is available only with the Strong Hybrid version and you won't get any petrol only variant with the Invicto. The car is having the boot space of 239 liters which is the same as we get with Hycross. A space saver spare wheel is also well placed inside the boot.

As you enter into the cabin, it is very much similar to that of Hycross. But you can see the Suzuki logo on the steering wheel. You can adjust the steering wheel manually for height and reach. Volume control and cruise control switches are provided.
Interior of Invicto
Colour combination of the interior is very good. The 10.1 inch infotainment system provided with the Invicto is connected with Suzuki connect features, with this you can control almost all functions of the car. Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay are provided. Reverse parking camera and music system are also configured with this system. The 7 inch driver side MID is also very clear and it provides all vehicle and drive related information to the driver.
Invicto front seats
Front seats are powered seats and are ventilated too.These are very comfortable seats for long journeys. You will get lot of storage space inside the car. All doors are provide with bottle holders. There is sufficient storage space under the driver side arm rest, two cup holders and a decent glove box are provided, apart from this you will get Type A and C USB charging points and a wireless mobile charger with the Invicto.
Maruti Suzuki Invicto Captain Seats
As in the Hycross, you will get comfortable seats at the second row of the Invicto. It is also available in seven and eight seat configurations. The captain seats provided with the six seater variant is very comfortable for long  journeys. You will get cup holders, A/c vents and mobile charging points in this row too. However the Ottoman seats available with the top end variant of the Hycross is missing with the Invicto. The third row seats are ideal for kids. Mobile charging points, A/c vents and cup holders are provided here too.
Panoramic sun roof of invicto
It is a spacious vehicle with a premium interior, and the panoramic sun roof provided with the Invicto is elevating that roominess to a next level. 

The Invicto comes with a petrol engine, which produces 137kW power and 350Nm torque with a strong-hybrid set up. The vehicle is available in both manual and automatic transmission options. Both transmissions are well mated with the engine. But the automatic eCVT provided with car is very nice to drive in the city and on the highway alike. The electric motor provided in the vehicle assists the petrol engine in low rpms which ensures more mileage. Invicto claims 23km/l, which is a good figure for a vehicle of this size.

When comes to the riding comfort, Innovas are well known for its riding comfort, even though they were built on the ladder on frame chassis, now with the Invicto/Hycross this comfort goes up to a next level because of the new monocoque platform. It is a perfect long distance cruiser. Moreover its high ground clearance ensures a peace of mind while travelling through  bad patched road and high speed brakers.

In conclusion, the Maruti Suzuki Invicto is a very spacious and comfortable MPV. It is a perfect highway cruiser which offers a very decent mileage with its strong hybrid set up. Moreover, it is from Maruti, which ensures a good after sales service and their extensive service networks  ensures a peace of mind through out the ownership of the vehicle. Definitely you can consider this over Innova/Hycross.
