It is a very sharp and sporty car from front angle. Long bonnet, kidney grille, large airdam and LED headlights are giving it a sporty looks from front view.
From the sides, it is a perfect good looking sedan. The car sits on 18 inch alloy wheels. It is larger and so roomier than the regular 3 series and we can feel that 2961 mm wheelbase of the car from sides.
As you enter into the cabin, you will be welcomed by a well designed no nonsense dashboard. Well designed A/c vents looks really nice. A 14.9 inch curved digital infotainment system is provided in the car making it more premium over the regular 3 series. It can support Android Auto and AppleCarplay and having voice assist function too.
At the driver side you will get a 12.3 inch digital display, with this you can access various drive related information, but it don't feature navigation function. Electrically adjustable steering wheel is provided with switches of radio telephony & cruise control. Paddle shifters are also provided to make your drive more engaging.
At the feature and convenience front, the Gran Limousine is provided with 464W, 16 speaker Harman Kardon music system, which is one of the best system comes in the segment. Also you will get wireless mobile charging and Type A and C USB charging sockets at front and back.
The car having a nice well contoured rear seats with sufficient amount of legroom and headroom. You can do a day long travel on the rear seat without getting tired. Soft pillow provided on the headrest is adding the comfort even more.
As like other premium sedans, it is also a four seater in real world conditions. Accommodating a third passenger at the rear can turn a bit uncomfortable because of the large cetral tunnel, other wise it is a perfect four seater. Also you will get an arm rest with cup holders and a small place to hold your tablet on it.
Front seats are also very comfortable. It has power adjustable driver seats with memory function. An armrest with storage space is provided. Also you get two cup holders on the centre console. There is a decent storage space is available inside the dashboard too.
The Gran Limousine comes with a panoramic sunroof, which is enhancing its premium feel to the next level and also making the cabin more airy.
When comes to the driving department, it is still a driver friendly car in many aspects. The car is available in both petrol and diesel variants. Both engines are very refined and revv happy engines. Both engines are mated with an 8 speed torque converter gearbox.
The petrol version of the car comes with 1998cc twin power turbo petrol engine which churns out 258bhp and 400Nm torque, whereas the diesel twin power turbo variant having 1995cc diesel engine with 190bhp power and 400Nm torque. Both variants are very quick in acceleration.
The petrol variant can make 0 to 100kmph run in 6.2 seconds, whereas the diesel variant can do this in 7.6 seconds.
Three drive modes-Comfort, Eco Pro and Sports modes are provided in both variants. Driving character of the car changes as per the mode selection. It gives maximum fuel efficiency with the Eco Pro mode.
When come to fuel economy figures, the petrol variant claims 15.39 km/liter and the diesel variant claims 19.61km/liter.

Safety.
The car is loaded with lot of safety equipments and features. It has six airbags, ABS,EBD,Tyre pressure monitoring system, DSC ( Dynamic Stability Control ), DTC (Dynamic Traction Control), Cornering Brake Assist (CBC), ISOFIX child seat mounting, reverse parking camera and sensors, hill-hold assist, electronic vehicle immobiliser and crash sensor, park assist, reverse assist etc.
This reversing assistant stores the last 50m of the driven path in forward travel up to 35km/h, so that it can be retracted if required and you are relieved of the steering work and can concentrate on monitoring the vehicle movement. It is really a nice feature to come out from the tight and full parking lots.
