Mercedes Benz EQB 300

Mercedes Benz has launched its new electric SUV EQB 300 in India with a price tage of Rs 74.50 Lakh Ex-showroom.

EQB 300 is the India's first 7 seater electric vehicle. It is a large vehicle with the length of 4684mm,width of 2020mm and a wheelbase of 2829mm. 

From the sides,you can see its 18 inch alloy wheels, which looks really  beautiful. A thick cladding is provided under the doors and wheel arches giving it a muscular look from sides. Door handles are provided in chrome finish.

When come to the rear you can see the beautifully placed LED light bar and tail lights. Shark Finn antenna and spoiler with stop lamp are provided.It has a huge boot space of 1710 liters by folding the second and third row seats.

By folding the third row only you can generate 700 liters boot space. But you will have to satisfy with only marginal boot space with the third row up.

It is an all-wheel drive vehicle powered by a 66.5kWh battery pack mated to a dual electric motor setup, which churns out 228HP Power and 390Nm Torque. It has a WLTP-claimed range of 423 km which is a good figure for a 7-seater SUV. The top speed of the car is limited to 160km and it is a quick vehicle too, it can cruise from 0 to 100kmph in just 8seconds.

Charging time: The EQB can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 32 minutes with a 100kW DC fast charger.But it will take 6.25 hours with an 11kW A.C. charger.

As always, Mercedes cars are feature rich and comfortable and the EQB is no different, the car comes with two 10.25 inch displays which includes the the infotainment system and driver side display, powered front seats with memory function, panoramic sunroof, 64 colour ambient lighting and dual zone climate control are provided.

Front seats can be adjusted electrically and have memory function. All doors are provided with bottle holders. There is storage space under the front arm rest, which comes with a charging socket. Also you will get an arm rest with cup holder  at the rear seat. 

It has a nice beautiful flat bottom steering wheel, wrapped in Napa leather. The steering wheel can be adjusted manually for tilt and reach positions. Paddle shifters are also provided with the steering wheel to make the drive more enjoyable.

The third row seats are ideally fit for children. Headroom and legroom are very minimal in this row.
