The all new Maruti Suzuki Celerio is known as the Mileage king in cars. Maruti claiming 26.68Km/l for this car.

Very first time Maruti has introduced it's revolutionary AMT gear box with this model in 2014 or we can say Celerio was the first AMT car of India. It was the model which gave the taste of automatic drive to common man with good mileage. Since then it is one of the hot-selling hatch back in Indian market.

In 2022 this car has updated totally. Now it is manufactured in Maruti's HEARTECT platform. The top end AMT model comes with all the bells and whistles. Let's check the important details.

From the side view the car looks beautiful. It has 2435mm wheelbase. 15" glossy black alloy wheels looks good.Side rear view mirrors are body coloured with side indicators. All lights-from Headlamp to tail lamps are updated in the new model. Celerio having a decent boot space also.

In this updated version we get full black interior. 7" smart play infotainment system is placed at the middle of the dash board. It has Apple and Android auto connectivity and Suzuki connect technology features. There are cup holders  at the front of the gear lever. A 12V and a USB charger are provided. Bottle holders are provided at all 4 doors. All the seats are comfortable with integrated headrests. Driver seat height can be adjusted manually.

Celerio also comes with Start-stop switch, no other car in this price point have this feature. Handsfree telephony switches are provided on the steering wheel but no cruise control.

Good leg space and headroom are available at back. 3 people can be accommodated here. These seats can be 60:40 foldable, which increases boot space for carrying large goods.

Drivability- It's steering wheel and driver seat can be adjusted manually for good driving position. Outside visibility is excellent. 998CC K10 C is a very refined engine. It's Max power is 65HP @ 5500RPM and Max.Torque 89N/m @ 3500 RPM. The top end automatic car comes with a claimed mileage of 26.68Km/l. These mileage figures are good relief for a common man in the era of this skyrocketing fuel price.

Celerio also have a CNG version, but it is available in VXI manual variant only. CNG version of the car claims good 35.60 Km/Kg.

At the safety front the Celerio comes with 12+ safety features, you can check out on Maruti website. Some common features are 2 Airbags, EBD,ABS,Reverse parking sensors,Hill hold assist etc. 

Hill-Hold assist comes with Automatic versions and note that this feature is also a segment first feature in this price point.

Maruti's Suzuki connect features also providing lot many connected safety features like Geo-fencing,real-time vehicle tracking etc.

The car comes with 4 models-LXI,VXI,ZXI and ZXI+. 

The price ranges between 4.99lac to 6.44lac ex showroom.
