ERTIGA is the India's most favourable MPV. It's sold over 7.5 lakh units since it's launch.In the year 2020 it sold over 80,000 units. Ertiga is a game changing vehicle for Maruti. It is the most favourite Middle-Class family MPV.
Maruti has updated the Ertiga recently. Now it is the most economical 7-seater MPV with new updated features. Most important update is happened on its Engine and on its Gearbox.
EXTERIOR UPDATES.
We can see only minor updates on exterior. Now the grill having more chrome element.Maruti calling it as-winged chrome grill. Having clear lense Headlamp and at the back beautiful long Tail lamps are given.

It's a very lengthy vehicle by the side look, and yes it is- it's wheelbase is 2740mm which is at par with Innova crysta, having 4395mm length and 1735mm width. Also having a good ground clearance of 185mm.
INTERIOR UPDATES
As always,this updated Ertiga is also having very bright roomy interior. Dual tone seats are in Ash and beige colour. There is a large 7" smart play pro-touch screen infotainment system with more than 40 safety and entertainment features is provided with this updated vehicle.

This infotainment system is having many features like- Voice assist, Apple and Android auto and Geo-fencing facility. The vehicle is also having a good music system too.12V charging socket is provided at front. There are 2 ventilated cup holders provided in front of the gear lever. There is an arm rest behind the gear lever with small storage space under it.There are bottle holders on every doors. Driver seats can be adjusted manually. Very large leg room at the second row and these seats can be slanted. 12V charging sockets are also provided at second and third row.

DRIVABILITY.
Ertiga is having a 3 spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters,which makes the drive engaging although it's not a performance vehicle. Cruise control is also provided with this new Ertiga.
Ertiga is coming with a 1.5 Liter K-Series Naturally aspirated Dual-jet petrol engine with 101BHP Power and 136.8NM Torque.CNG version is also available with max.power 87BHP and 121.5NM Torque.
The new major update happened on its gear box. Now it is equipped with 6 speed torque converter automatic and 5 speed manual unit. NVH level are improved. The vehicle starts with a starter motor and it also gives sufficient push to the engine at lower RPM. Ertiga can claim 0-100 in 15 Sec.
The vehicle is also having start-stop technology for improving the mileage. As we know that Maruti is very conscious about the mileage and they are focussed to the budget of common man, the Ertiga is also coming with great fuel efficiency figures. As per Maruti the Manual Ertiga will give 20.5KM/ L and the Automatic claims 20.30KM/L whereas the CNG version is claiming 26KM/Kg.

New Ertiga is from the Heartect platform. There are lot of safety features included with this vehicle.

The price is starting at 8.35 lakh to 12.09 Lakh ex-showroom.
Petrol model is available in 4 variants( LXI/VXI/ZXI/ZXI+)
CNG is available in VXI and ZXI variants.CNG models come with 5-speed manual gear box only.
