All New Venue
Hyundai has updated it's bestselling compact SUV Venue. It sells in 40 plus countries and contributes about 22 percent in global sales of Hyundai vehicles. Venue made its entry in India in 2019, since then it sold approximately 3 Lakh units in India and still it continues to sell approx. 10,000 units per month! What a brand it is..Then guess how important the Venue is for Hyundai? It's a great car by a great automobile manufacturer.

Front View: From the front it looks identical to the pre-facelift model but now it looks more attractive. This model comes with the updated bumper and grill. LED projector headlamps are provided on the bumper. LED DRLs are beautifully placed around the headlamp unit. Indicators are provided above the headlamp units. The skid plate and long air dam are making the car wider and bold from front side. However the Fog lamps are removed with this update. From the front the Venue looks bold.

Side View: From sides we can see it's beautiful 16 inch diamond cut dual tone alloy wheels. ORVMs are body coloured with black finish at bottom. Turn indicators and Puddle lamps are provided on them. These ORVMs will turn in and out automatically while locking/unlocking the car. Aluminum finished roof rail and a Shark Finn antenna are provided at the top.In short it is more appealing from sides.

Rear View: From rear the Venue looks modern and properly updated. It is coming with a combination of beautiful tail lamps and reflectors.
The long LED strip starting from one side and going all the way through the boot door and joining the other side looks very attractive and it is an eye catching design. It looks really beautiful at night. In the boot you will get 350 Litres of space, it is adequate for a small family.
INTERIOR
By entering into the car, definitely your eyes will go to the 8 inch infotainment system of the Venue. It has an updated user interface. It is much more smoother than before. 10 regional languages are provided with this system for voice assist functions. Now this system can process the voice commands by itself without depending on the network and so the responses are quick from it. It has Apple Carplay and Android auto connectivity and also having Alexa and Google assist features too.
It has dual tone dash board and the seat upholstery has been updated to meet with the dash board colour. Seats are finished with part leatherette upholstery which looks nice. Seats are well cushioned. Driver seat can be electrically adjusted for reclining and sliding functions however the seat height can be adjusted manually only. It has a flat bottom leather wrapped steering wheel, which looks good.
Now the Venue comes with a digital instrument cluster. It looks nice and very clear.
It possesses various vehicle related information like Tyre pressure monitoring system, gear position indicator,distance to empty etc.
Other features includes a Sun roof which is a premium feature. A 12V charging point and two USB charging ports are provided. A wireless mobile charging pad is provided at the front of the gear lever and a Drive mode selector knob is placed at the back of the gear lever in the Turbo-Petrol DCT power train model.
The centre arm rest at the front is provided with integrated Air Purifier. The button of the purifier is provided at the right of the arm rest. Ambient lighting in the dash board storage adds premiumness inside the cabin.
Rear seats are well cushioned. These seats also features a 2-step back rest recline function. Arm rest with two cup holders are provided at the centre. The seats have excellent under thigh support. Leg room and head room are decent. A/c vents are also provided at the rear. Two type C charging ports are provided under the A/c vents.
At the storage front there are bottle holders on all fours doors. Small storage space is given under the front arm rest. There is decent storage space is available in the glove box. Two cup holders are also provided at the front.
Although Hyundai had done everything best but the Venue lacks some features like the Auto dimming IRVM, ventilated seats,360 degree reverse parking camera, rain sensing wiper and a premium music system from Bose or Harmon.
SAFETY: At the safety front six airbags are offered with the top-spec SX(O) variant, while all other variants get two airbags only. Though the top variant is loaded with tons of safety features, the base E variant misses out some features like Brake Assist System(BAS), Eelectronic Stability Control(ESC), Vehicle Stability Management and Hill Assist Control.
DRIVABILITY & RIDE COMFORT
The All new Venue comes with three engine options. They are
* 1.2 Liter Petrol
* 1.5 Liter Diesel &
* 1.0 Liter Turbo-Petrol
The Venue retains its 1.2L Petrol and 1.5L Diesel engines. These are very smooth and silent and gives a creamy drive. The new addition is the 1.0L Turbo-Petrol engine paired with a DCT transmission, makes a perfect combination. It gives excellent driving experience. This engine is very smooth and the DCT provides quicker gear shifts too. Now the car feels more effortless to drive in the city as well as in the open highway. It has three dive modes- Eco, Normal and Sport.
Eco mode-is ideal to get more mileage from the car.
Normal mode-is the ideal mode for city and highway drive. It is the mode that is going to be used by 90 percent of it's owners.
Sport mode- is the mode that is going to exite the driver inside you. In this mode engine become more aggressive and can provide more powerful and engaging driving experience. To add the driving experience the Venue comes with Paddle shifters too.

As in the feature list there is a big miss in the driving department too. It lacks the Automatic version in Diesel variant. It would have provided atleast in the top SX(O) variant.
The price of the Hyundai Venue starts at Rs. 7.53Lakh and goes up to Rs. 12.72 Lakh ex.showroom. Venue is available in E,S,S+/S(O),SX and SX(O) variants. It's a very nice,good looking and feature rich compact SUV. It's engine and gear box along with its suspension set up, it provides an excellent driving experience and a very nice riding comfort too.
With all these qualities and features Hyundai Venue becomes an ideal pick in the compact SUV segment. It's a perfect choice for a small family of four people.
